Another one bites the dust........or clear coat!

I have 2003 G35 and the paint near the sunroof and on the spoiler now look like the surface of the moon. The paint has bubbled and the clear coat has chipped. It seemed to have happened overnight.
Infinity needs to offer a restoration deal for customers.
I would think they would want their vehicles to look spotless as we as owners are driving advertisements for them.

I have been the proud owner of an 07 G35 sedan up until paint problems started showing up on the hood about a year ago. What appeared to be spontaneous flaking has begun to multiply near the front edge of the hood in a couple of locations. It really is like a wholesale flaking of the black paint, exposing bare metal. To me, it looks like the primer failed, or perhaps there is no primer. This is ridiculous. As others have mentioned, I have also owned many other vehicles and have never encountered this type of problem--especially after so few years of ownership!

Needless to say, as much fun as I have had driving my G35, I won't be getting into the Q50 anytime in the future. At this price point, we as owners expect more from Infiniti. They need to take care of their customers and repair the defective paint job.

My 2006 white G35 sedan has a couple spots where the paint is peeling & bubbling off of the primer. The spots keep growing. Amazing how thin the coat of paint is on these cars. Very similar to a problem I had with my '88 F150. However, Ford stepped up to the plate and fixed the problem even though it was way past the warranty. Maybe a class action suit will come about against Infiniti/Nissan and force them to do something about this. Pretty sad that they won't do something about this.

I have a 2005 g35 and also have the same problem. It's very frustrating to say the least, along with multiple other issues I have had with the car. There are small chips that are on the hood that seem to be getting worse. Looks almost as if someone drove that car behind a vehicle that had tiny rocks falling from it, but that's not the case. I wax the car every 3 months and this shouldn't be happening..

Also, both door lock actuators went out, factory CD player stopped playing CD's, drivers side winder doesn't roll up right away sometimes when pressing the button to roll it up, hood hinge on the passenger side is giving out so the hood touches the body panel when you try and lift up the hood... Should I go on?? I was thinking the same as everyone else. Infiniti is suppose to be a luxury vehicle and there are issues with this car that shouldn't happen. I really do like the G35, it is an awesome and fun car, but I don't think I will buy an Infiniti or "Nissan" again..

Another year of reprieve... the powers that be made some recommendations at the last minute, so we can have a seller financing free for all until the end of this year. Who knows if they will change it again?

I have a 2003 g35 with the same problem I bought it from the original owner and what started out as small scratches on the roof is now completely pealing and rusting. Also the hood any trunk stain with every drop of water that land on it.

For whatever reason, Scottsdale has been aggressively advertising on Canadian TV as a resort and/or retirement destination. These ads are cleverly placed on TheWeatherNetwork (.com) where we get our miserable winter weather reports.

Should this strategy be fruitious, the Scottsdale council will need to add un-gun-loving, pinko Canadian opinion (Spiral Dynamics Green) to the mix.

This may turn out to be as digestible as a rock.

This is definitely a good news for hard money lenders because somehow they are not affected by the law. They are still able to continue their business in helping individuals who do flips and rehab and then resale.
